The team were in superb form on Friday as we sent out both winners of the Track Bookmakers Kingdom Derby Semi Finals at Tralee.

Native Maestro took the opening Semi Final for owner John Kelleher. It was another outstanding, professional, performance with Maestro as he made it eight wins from just eight career start. Breaking quickly once more and slipping around the opening corners in front, he was then soon in control and four lengths clear. Moving along the far side he extended the lead further into the  third corner. Chased hard by Great Name That behind, Maestro stayed on well, crossing the line three lengths clear, in 28.53.

Newinn Hero completed the team double when taking the second Semi Final, for owners Simon Taylor and Marc White. Breaking smartly from traps, edging middle slightly on the run up, he still managed to lead around the opening bends. Knocknaboul Syd gave his all to pass heading into the 3rd bend but Hero wasn’t budging and staying on bravely, he crossed the line two lengths to the good in 28.70.
