Alongside our fantastic victory in Limerick, with Coolavanny Pandy winning the Holmes O’Malley Sexton Solicitors Oaks, we had a couple of other winners and big runners elsewhere.

At Limerick we had Riverside Charm winning a good 550 A2 contest. Following the early leader round the opening turn he went round the outside of him and soon showed good back straight pace out the second turn to take up the running. He stayed here to go on to win by two and a half lengths.

At Shelbourne we had Garryvoe Jet and Hawaii Kinsale in the big Gain 600 final. Both ran brave races but came up against a very good dog in Greenwell Hulk who was a worthy winner of the competition – congratulations to connections. Hawaii Kinsale ran on to take the runner up price whilst Garryvoe Jet was a few lengths back in fourth spot.

Also on the card, it was fantastic to Sidarian Lisa show her true class when getting a clear run race especially following her last race where she was knocked over. She won by six lengths in a good 42.15. She’ll now be aimed for the Barry’s Tea 750 at Cork starting in the next fee weeks.

In other kennel news, we’re pleased to welcome the return of Sidarian Blaze who was unfortunately eliminated in the English Derby recently. We’re also pleased to see how well some of our stud dogs our performing. Broadacres Turbo had a representative in the Irish Puppy Oaks last night at Shelbourne, she is from a fantastic litter. Leeview Jets son, Monleek Empire recently flew around Dundalk is a very fast 28.37 which is only 6 spots away from the track record!

Finally, we have 4 runners in the Produce Stakes at Clonmel this evening. Runaway Rover has a favorable trap draw and should go well in his heat if continuing with the fine form he has been showing of late. Riverside Pat is also in fine form but has a sticky draw to contend with. Sidarian Blitz is a good dog and has a big shout if getting a clear run whilst Barnhill Turbo will also be a big runner if steering a clear passage.
