The team had another successful weekend as we sent out a hat-trick of winners at Shelbourne and another two at Limerick.

Fahee Storm got us off to a nice start in his second race when landing an Bet on the Tote A0/A1 525 contest. Headed into the turn by Priceless Squire, Fahee Storm owned by Damien Bolger, held his rails slot to be in a position to challenge into the back straight. Making a bold move into the third turn, he took advantage of the early leader moving wide, Staying on well, the son of Superior Product and Aclamon Fab hit the line two lengths in front in 28.37.

The Larry O’Rourke owned Riverside Larry was the team’s second winner when he came home clear in the Barking Buzz App Mini Open 525. Challenging early, he benefited from early bunching on the inside at the opening bends. With the gap closing as they turned for home Larry stayed on to secure a length and a half victory in 28.39.

The Shelbourne hat-trick was completed when Macaroon Cruz powered this way to victory in the Talking Dogs AA0/A0 575. Kevin Lees’ son of Superior Product disputed the early lead into the turn, hitting the front he would always be difficult to pass. Staying on strongly, the professional winner came home two and a half lengths in front of kennel mate Ballydoyle Bee in 31.07.


Our Limerick Leger hopefuls went well in preparation for opening round contests this coming Saturday. Ballydoyle Valor was a powerful winner of the Friends of Limerick Open 550. Leading at the third turn he galloped away to land a six length success in 29.65. Lenson Austin showed the promise we know he has as he produced a fine performance to land the Leger Entries Close Monday Next @ 12 noon A0 550. Leading at the opening turn he turned on the style, pulling further clear he eventually crossed the line some eight and three quarter lengths in front in 29.61. All eyes will be on the upcoming draw which is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
