The team landed a nice few winners on a busy weekend which saw us victorious at Shelbourne, Curraheen Park and Clonmel.

Friday evening kick got the weekend off to a good start with two winners at Clonmel. Drumcrow Brexit, for owner Roy Ruddy, was impressive again as he landed the honors in the Retired Greyhounds Trust ON3 Unraced Final. Following up his Semi Final victory he led early before scorching his way round to a thirteen length victory in 28.86. Rathcoole Ella gave us a nice double in the next race as she was another big distance victor on her way to landing the Garryglass Kennels A2 550 Stake Semi-Final. Breaking level she was soon in control as she drew clear to cross the line seven lengths in front in 30.20 for the Holder-McMunn-Sheratt Syndicate.

Also on Friday evening, at Shelbourne Park, we were represented in the Second Round of the Gain Dog Nutrition Corn Cuchulainn 750. We landed two good heat winners. First up was O Mahoney who landed the spoils as she ran on well to take the opening heat in a good 41.61. Riverside Honey was runner up to a track record breaking run in Heat 2 as she progressed before Slippery Jade recorded a nice victory, beating some top class dogs, in the the final heat, recording another good time of 41.49.

On to Saturday evening and we landed a nice double at Shelbourne as Fahrenheit Lor and recent kennel recruit, Lenson Bocko were good winners in A0 contests over 550. Fahrenheit Lor showed good early pace to lead early, she moved well throughout and despite coming under pressure on the run in she stayed on well to land victory for owners Lorraine O’Sullivan in a good 29.53 by a length and a half. Lenson Bocko, having his first run for the team, and owners Lochead-Ponder-Whelan Syndicate, was an impressive winner as he showed fine early speed to lead into the corner and lead all the way to a two length victory in 29.47.

The evening closed out nicely at Curraheen Park where Prawn Star continued her good run of form for the Keohane Seafoods Syndicate. She ran out a nice length and half winner of the Irish Retired Greyhound Trust 525 A0 contest, going slightly quicker than last week as she recorded 28.47. Elsewhere on the card we landed two qualifiers for the Denis Linehan Solicitors Unraced Final when Lenson Austin and Newinn Hero finished 2nd and 3rd respectively in the second Semi Final contest. The draw for the Final is: 1. Newinn Hero, 2. The Other Rambo, 3. Ballymac Howard, 4. Antigua Boy, 5. Lenson Austin, 6.The Other Rex.
