It was a weekend of mixed fortunes as we sent teams to Limerick, Cork and Shelbourne Park.

Starting down at Cork where Hovex Princess was contesting her 4th Oaks Final of the year as she lined up in the Easytrip Parking Open Bitch Stake. Breaking well she battled to lead into the opening turn with the 1 bitch. On the outside she couldn’t quite make it round and set off in pursuit along the far side. Battling hard all the way to the line she was unable to find a way past and went down by 3/4 length to finish runner up. Congratulations to connections of Corrin Amy who ran a big race on the night to take victory.

Over at Limerick we sent a team for the Kerry Agribusiness Irish St Leger opening round. Rural Hawaii was our only winner on the night when he took victory in Heat 6 where kennel mate Sidarian Vega finished in 3rd spot. Other qualifiers for the kennels were Coonough Master and Going to Work.

Over at Shelbourne we had a couple of winners. Ballydoyle Honey followed up last week’s brilliant sub 32 second run for the 600yrds when winning the opening Billy Mulvaney Snr & Jnr Memorial 600 Semi-Final. She was made to work hard for it by litter sister Samiya but she proved too strong going on to win by three and half lengths in another quick time of 32.10. Earlier in the evening, Riverside Annie had produced a career best run when scorching to a seven length victory in a great 28.37.
