The team landed four winners over the weekend which included a nice double at Shelbourne in the opening round of the Oaks as well as a Semi Final winner of the Mullingar Cesarewitch.

Prawn Star justified the market favouritism as she took the honours in Heat 5 of the Sporting Press Irish Oaks. Owned by the Keohane Seafood Syndicate, she ran out a comfortable victor after leading at the turn. Once leading from Luminous Flower she maintained a strong gallop to the line, the daughter of Ballymac Vic and Rural Maui went on to cross the line a length and a half to the good in slick 28.45. Clona Dream produced another professional performance as she ran out a good winner in Heat 8. Breaking well she led into the bend before moving well along the back, never really under pressure, the daughter of Kinloch Brae and Rushmoorbeatrice crossed the line a length and a length and a half in hand on her pursuers for owner Kevin O’Brien. She stopped the clock in a good 28.49.

Totos Park secured his place in next week’s Larry Clancy Memorial Irish Cesarewitch Final as he ran out the winner in the second Semi Final at Mullingar. The wide draw suited him perfectly with our other two runners, Beaming Paradise and Macaroon Cruz, having their anticipated bump in the middle on the run up and they were immediately under pressure to qualify. Leading round the opening turns, Totos lay down the challenge to the chasing Vaguely Noble. Unable to make any inroads Totos crossed the line two lengths in front in 33.31.

Over to Clonmel on Sunday and it was Ballyhimikin Jet who went one better than last week to give us a winner here. Breaking level he showed good pace to get to the bend level with the four, riding a small bump here he managed to maintain his position. It was a good buckle along the far side where Jet just started to edge it, hitting the third turn he ran a great bend to pull a couple lengths clear. Going away from the chasers he crossed the line in 28.77 by four lengths.
