The team had another productive weekend, sending out 5 winners, scattered between Shelbourne Park, Curraheen Park and Clonmel.

It was the start of the 2019 Two Wheel Training Cork Oaks at Curraheen Park where we secured three qualifiers, include two heat winners. O Mahoney finished second in the opening heat overcoming bumping of the first bend to take second spot and secure her place in the next round. The second heat saw Ballydoyle Grace lead all the way to take victory by a length in 28.89. Clona Dream produced a superb performance to take heat three in a very fast 2851, leading all the way she crossed the line of three and a half lengths in front.

Up at Shelbourne, we recorded a nice double in the Gain Greyhound Nutrition Open 600 heats as Clonbrien Prince and Lenson Blinder ran out victors. Prince produced a powerful performance in heat two to land the contest by a length and a half in 32.51, before Lenson Blinder put last week’s bumpy ride behind him as he ran out an impressive six length winner in 32.09. Elsewhere on the card, Blue East qualified for the final of the Gain Record Breaker Open 525 Final as he finished runner up in the second semi-final.

The weekend was completed with Clonbrien Swift producing a dominating the performance, when running out a comprehensive seven length winner of The SPRING A1 / A2 550 Stake Semi-Final, stopping the clock in a very fast 29.76 (-20), it is one of the fastest times ever recorded.
