The kennels will have the huge honor of supplying half the field in the Dandelion Bar & Nightclub Easter Cup next Saturday evening at Shelbourne Park.

Coran Sky was made to work in the opening Semi Final. Showing a burst of early speed to lead round the opening turn he soon led up the back straight. Coming round the final turns he was starting to be run down and swinging wide off he last he allowed his opposition that chance to draw closer. Straightening up on the run in he held on to score by a head. In behind, Gaytime Hawk, had run his heart out. Showing great battling spirit he qualified in 3rd spot to make the line up next.

In the second Semi Final Sidarian Blaze did it the hard way when leading on the run in to win by a neck. Trouble at the opening turn had seen our other runner, and early race leader, Millbank Stevie brought to the floor. Down the back straight Blaze set off in pursuit of the early leader Slippery Fred. Round the last two turns it was Blaze who railed tightly to draw ever closer before staying on well to grab victory.

We’re glad to be able to report Stevie appears to avoided any major injury. Stiff and sore he’ll be checked over fully in the coming days and will hopefully be back sooner rather than later.
