Firstly, we’d like to thank everyone for their well wishes for a speedy recovery for Rhythm, both ourselves and the owners have received many messages and we are grateful of your support.

Rhythm was operated on on Monday by Micheal o’Connor in Cashel where he had three screws inserted into the hock. Micheal was pleased with the way the operation went and he has now returned back to the kennels to begin his recouperation with us. Thankfully Rhythm is coping magnificently and taking it in his stride which is a compliment to how sensible a dog he is.

All things being well, he will hopefully receive the thumbs up from the vet in a couple weeks where it is planned he will return to part owner, Tom O’Connor in Kerry, to convalesce. Although nothing has been decided for definite there is the likely possibility he may stand at stud in the future.
