Clonbrien Prince emerged a comfortable winner of the Open 600 at Shelbourne Park on Saturday evening.

Clonbrien Prince broke smartly and held his rails pitch into the bend which proved decisive. Railing round the opening turn, whilst others around him found trouble, he was soon in command turning out the second bend. Pulling away along the far side he built up a strong four length lead from Skywalker Logan. Staying on strongly all the way to the line, Prince came home two and a half length winner over Logan in a fast 32.17.

Owned by Kay Murphy, he captures another big prize over the extended 4 bend trip, backing up his victory in the Gain 600 at the same venue earlier in the year.
