Saturday saw us over at Limerick where we were represented in the Con & Annie Kirby Memorial Stake, as well as The Treaty Cup.

Skywalker Archie qualified for next week’s Treaty Cup Final as he finished third in his Semi Final, won in a track record time by Quietly. He was slowly into stride but soon got going to secure a qualifying spot. He has drawn 6 in next week’s red hot final affair.

Clares Rocket has taken to Limerick, like the proverbial duck to water, in the opening two rounds and Saturday was no exception. He rode a slight bump and stumble on the run up before railing the opening bends, powering away out the second turn the race was soon over as a contest as he went clear along the far side. Staying on strong he came home 7 lengths to the good in a fine 28.32. Riverside Oscar claimed third spot and qualifies for next week’s Semi Finals.

The next heats saw Riverside Chip break smartly and show good early pace to take control of the race early. He crossed the line a length and half in front to take his spot on next week’s Semi Finals.
