It’s been great to return to racing in recent weeks and with plenty of runners, and winners, it’s been a great start back for the team.

We have had a number of winners since restart with Lenson Blinder and Ballydoyle Valor being our first two as Shelbourne. We then followed this up last week, where the Friday saw us land a hat-trick of winners at Clonmel as Riverside Heart, Coolavanny Fagan and Newinn Sheedy all scored successes. Whilst on the Saturday, Black Parachute was a fast winner at Shelbourne, clocking 28.23 in an AA0 contest. Ballydoyle Buzz and Riverside Leo gave us a fine double at Curraheen Park on the same night, clocking 28.56 and 28.46 respectively.

Moving on to this week and we had a couple of nice winners again where Riverside Leo followed up last week’s success with another display of fantastic early pace to claim the victory in an A0 contest at Shelbourne. Down at Curraheen Park we landed a nice double courtesy of Sevenheads Rock and Fabulous Belle.

Saturday also saw trials ahead of potential entries for Champion Stakes and the Derby in the coming weeks. Lenson Bocko, the current Irish Derby Champion, clocked 28.33 in a solo spin before Ballyhimikin Jet recorded 29.35 for the 550yrds. Clona Blaze and showed he is in fine fettle with a 28.36 (525yrds) whilst Black Parachute posted 29.60 for the 550yds.
