Brenval Star qualified for the Sporting Press Irish Oaks Final following her 3rd place finish on Saturday evening. Breaking very well she found herself in contention of taking up the lead round the opening turn where she rode a bump from trap 1, this set her back a couple lengths but with her strong running style she always looked like she was capable of qualifying when she went down the back straight in 3rd place. That’s where she stayed to progress to next weeks classic final.

On the same card Elevenerife was a good winner when leading up in the open 550 contest with a winning margin of 2.5 lengths whilst Barnhill Turbo was also very impressive when taking the 525 open, leading at the third bend he went on to score by 6 lengths.

Sidarian Lisa represented us in the final of the Barrys Tea Open 750 at Curaheen Park on Saturday evening. She gave her all on the evening but was beaten a top bitch in Woe Katie and all credit must go to connections for the victory.
