Ballydoyle Honey led home a brilliant kennel 1-2 in the final of the The Red Mills/T.S.C. Open Unraced Stake on Saturday evening at Clonmel.

Breaking her best to date she was in contention from the outset. Tucked in behind the early leader Razldazl Oisin, Honey went to the bend in a prominent position. Riverside Gold had moved up the inside to take up the running at the opening turn and burst out the second bend in command but Honey was always with 2-3 lengths of him and at the 3rd the gap was closing fast. Running a good bend to keep away from any trouble she cruised around the outside of Gold and powered home down the straight to score by 3 lengths in another great time of 28.50 to cap a memorable evening for the owners and the kennel.
